“84. (1) Any member who is prevented from attending a meeting of the Assembly shall inform the Clerk as early as possible of his inability to attend.

(2) If, without leave of the Presiding Officer obtained in writing before the end of the last of the sittings referred to in this section, any member is absent from the Assembly for more than three consecutive ordinary sittings or is continually absent from Tobago for ninety days occurring during the same session, such a member shall vacate his seat in the Assembly in accordance with Section 19 of the Tobago House of Assembly Act, 1996.70.”
