Assemblyman Kelvon Morris is a dedicated leader with over twenty (20) years of passionate leadership in his community. A graduate of Bishop’s High School Tobago, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Sociology and Minor in Psychology from the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega, Georgia, USA, and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations and World Order from the University of Leicester, Leicester, United Kingdom.  Assemblyman Morris has a wide range of experience in the public sector, holding positions that allowed him to help others and improve their lives. He served as Executive Officer to the Secretary of Health and Social Services, then as Programme Officer II, Procurement Officer and Public Affairs Officer at the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development. He was also Chairman of the REACH Screening Committee at the Division, and Project Officer at the National Commission for Self Help Limited.  His passion for helping others led to him being instrumental in the development of many community initiatives in his home village of Whim. He is a member of the SWUM Village Council and founded the SWUM CAN SAVED Night Football Tournament. He also co-founded the Youth Business Mentorship Program, which provided training to young entrepreneurs on how to develop and grow their businesses. He served as Secretary of Whim Leeds United Football Club, and returned to his alma mater, Whim Anglican Primary School, to sponsor the Hamilton Samuel SEA Scholarship of Hope.  Over the past decade, Assemblyman Morris has successfully contributed to the work of state enterprises, serving on the Boards of Vanguard Holdings Limited, Evolving Tecknologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited (eTecK) and the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited.  Assemblyman Morris was elected to serve the people of Black Rock/Whim/Spring Garden in the January 2021 Tobago House of Assembly Elections. During that ten-month period, he was able to implement many initiatives in his electoral district, including a Food and Clothing Bank, Sunday Meals on Wheels, District Contingency Fund, the BLAWSSUMM CAN Foundation and the Community Beautification Initiative. He was then re-elected to serve the electoral district of Darrel Spring/Whim in the December 2021 Tobago House of Assembly elections.  Assemblyman Morris is a husband, proud father and advocate for community and youth development. He brings this passion to his new role of service as Minority Leader of the Tobago House of Assembly, a role he intends to serve every resident of Tobago with passion and transparency.
