Farley Chavez Augustine – Area Representative | Parlatuvier / L’Anse Fourmi / Speyside – Chief Secretary, Tobago House of Assembly
Farley Chavez Augustine is the Area Representative for Parlatuvier/L’Anse Fourmi/Speyside and serves as Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly. Raised in the eastern community of Speyside, he credits his values, discipline, and leadership philosophy to the strong community foundations that shaped his upbringing.

Educated at Speyside Anglican School and Bishop’s High School, Mr. Augustine later pursued degrees in Linguistics and International Relations at The University of the West Indies, Mona, where he also served on the Student Guild Executive. After completing his tertiary education, he returned home to Tobago to serve as a Communications Officer and later as an educator at Speyside High School, where he strengthened student leadership systems and advocated for educators, including the regularisation of contract teachers and improved remuneration for primary school teachers.

First elected to the Tobago House of Assembly in 2017 and re-elected in 202, Mr. Augustine leads a youthful and reform-oriented administration focused on self-determination, community empowerment, and sustainable development. His leadership is defined by accessibility, strategic vision, and a commitment to making Tobago the greatest little island on the planet.
