Dr. Faith Brebnor – Area Representative | Belle Garden / Glamorgan – Deputy Chief Secretary

Dr. Faith Brebnor is the Area Representative for Belle Garden/Glamorgan. A proud daughter of Belle Garden, she is a public health professional, scholar, and community advocate with a career dedicated to improving population health and social wellbeing.
She was educated at Belle Garden Anglican School, Roxborough Composite School and Signal Hill Secondary School before earning degrees in Neuroscience, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Doctorate in Public Health (Behavioral and Community Health Sciences) from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brebnor returned home to Tobago to apply her expertise through wellness programmes, community health assessments, life-skills outreach, and initiatives supporting families affected by HIV and fertility challenges.
As Secretary of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, and later Deputy Chief Secretary, she played a central role in leading Tobago through the COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening rural healthcare access, protecting vulnerable populations, and advancing health equity. Known for her principled, results-driven leadership, Dr. Brebnor continues to work closely with residents to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.
