The Team:W e are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team and focus on enterprise search solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background and experience with search technologies. They should be passionate about building scalable and efficient search systems that enable users to quickly and easily find relevant information. Responsibilities and Impact :Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise search solutions using modern search technologies.Implementing search algorithms, indexing, and ranking mechanisms to enhance search relevance and performance.Collaborating with data engineers to ensure seamless data ingestion, indexing, and retrieval from various sources.Writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure the reliability and quality of search solutions.Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for search system architecture, APIs, and user guides. Compensation/Benefits Information : (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,700 to $128,800. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. Basic Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in software development, with a focus on search technologies.Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks.Knowledge of information retrieval concepts and search engine algorithms. – Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications :Experience with machine learning and natural language processing techniques.Familiarity with big data technologies.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
